Mobiliar invested in IT and digitalization early: since 2018 alone, CHF 300 million has been invested in related projects, and 150 additional specialists have been recruited. The insurance company relies entirely on the public cloud and builds its solutions. Customers are offered modular products across all channels, with dynamic pricing and fully automated processing. The goal is to provide an outstanding customer experience, both physically and digitally. The delivery organization is consistently customer-focused, with a specific organization for private individuals, SMEs, and large companies. The agile way of working makes it possible to adapt solutions flexibly and quickly to changing customer needs and integrate them into ecosystems. The focus is on two main areas: Modernising the core business and building and expanding ecosystems around housing and services for SMEs with targeted investments in strategic partnerships.

Insurance is increasingly becoming a commodity - an interchangeable, standardized product. Not surprisingly, insurance is increasingly being offered and purchased on the Internet. And online providers from outside the industry are considering entering this attractive market. How can insurance companies establish contact with new customers in this competitive, impersonal market?
Mobiliar has constantly been building new ways to reach customers for several years. And has now taken another decisive step forward: With significant investments in strategic cooperations, Mobiliar is ensuring that it will continue to be where its customers are in the future. In the area of housing and property, this means, for example: When looking for a property to buy or rent, taking out a rental deposit or finding tradesmen for renovations.
Mobiliar has thus created a smart eco-system that cleverly combines digital and traditional sales channels. Mobi's transformation is supported by its employees, who regularly give their employer top marks. And also by an IT department that is not simply an implementer, but acts as an enabler and co-designer of the business.
