Short description

My journey is marked by a unique blend of personal resilience, professional achievements, and a commitment to making a positive impact through technology and community involvement. When I was four, my family moved from Germany to France. Despite not speaking a word of French initially, I adapted quickly and was eventually elected to the junior city council by my peers. This early experience taught me the importance of adaptability and leadership. I pursued my studies at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), where I represented the entire student body in meetings with the president of the school and the ETH domain. This role honed my ability to advocate for others and navigate complex institutional dynamics. After my studies, I also began a PhD in digital health at ETH Zurich, which I eventually decided to stop. This experience taught me valuable lessons about handling failure and the importance of resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges. Professionally, I co-founded Resmonics AG, a start-up focused on improving the lives of patients with chronic respiratory diseases through AI-based software. Our innovative technology, based on rigorous academic and clinical research, predicts potential exacerbations days in advance, thereby preventing hospital admissions and enhancing patients' quality of life. In addition to my professional endeavors, I founded and serve as president of the NGO GirlsCodeToo. Our mission is to introduce young girls to technology and inspire them to pursue leadership roles in the tech industry. In my free time, I enjoy gravel biking around Greifensee and building a camper van from scratch. These hobbies reflect my love for the outdoors, hands-on projects, and the satisfaction of creating something unique and functional. What distinguishes me is my commitment to leveraging technology for social good and my dedication to promoting gender equality in tech. My journey from a young child adapting to a new language and culture, to leading innovative tech projects and community initiatives, underscores a career and lifestyle driven by resilience, creativity, and a passion for making a positive impact.
